DESCRIPTION:Dear Four Corners Writers\,\nWe invite you to an exploration of “Letters in Our Literary Lives” at the regular third Wednesday meeting in March. Letters play important roles in our literary lives.  They advance plot lines\, define character\, comprise the heart of a story\, and even unlock our creativity in ways that a blank page just can’t do.\nHave you noticed how often letters appear in fiction\, nonfiction\, poetry\, and cinema? We have. \n \nWe hope you’ll join us for this inquiry into letters in our literary lives where we will be citing\, reading from\, and exhibiting letter-based literature; offering a short history of letters in literature; discussing how letters are used in stories; talking about the process of turning letters into biography; and musing about how writing a letter can open our minds to the creative process.\n \nIf you would like to prepare for this workshop\, give some thought as to how a single letter or clutch of letters has impacted your writing life\, your daily life\, or your thinking.\n \nSee you soon and best regards from Mimi (Gorman)\, Anne (Benson)\, and Susan (Carpenter Noble).\nAs always\, all genres and experience levels are welcome and admission is free.
